Come with us to Kyrgyzstan! We visit Os, the capital of the Silk Road, with a 3000-year-old history, and spend a week among the nomads in one of the most beautiful parts of the Pamir-Alaj in the Kyrgyz-Ata National Park, then we travel down to the Kyrgyz-Tajik border and climb a friendly five-thousander to the 5356m high peak of Koksay .
PROGRAMME
Day 1 Departure to Kyrgyzstan directly to Os
Day 2 Arrival in Os, transfer to accommodation, shopping in Central Asia’s largest bazaar, sightseeing (Sulajman Mountain), accommodation and breakfast
Day 3 Departure to the Kyrgyz-Ata National Park, known for its juniper forests, ascent to the Dzyrta high-altitude camp (3900m) near the Kara Koy Lake in the Sujcikty Valley
Day 4 Full day of rest and acclimatization. Those who can stand it can climb the nearby Chelyabinsky Raboch peak (4400m)
Day 5 Ascent to the Legendarnaya Magnitka peak (4632m)
Day 6 Ascent to the triple peak of the Kyrgyz-Ata peak (4750m)
Day 7 Return to the gate of the national park, departure to Os, cleaning and dinner, accommodation and breakfast
Day 8 Around lunch, departure to the Northern Pamirs, where we set up a base camp in the Koksay valley approx. 2 hours walk.
Days 9-10 Two days to climb the Koksay 5356m peak and (if possible) the neighboring Polkovaja peak
Day 11 Return and departure from the mountains to Os, cleaning and afternoon rest, dinner
Day 12 Early morning departure home
